The DC ACO and NOFA are inviting you to a family-friendly afternoon of swimming, games, food, and good cheer at CAPT Shep Smith’s farm in Great Falls on Aug 9th. NOFA DC Holiday Party

The annual NOFA Holiday Party will be held at the home of Commander Ricardo and Melissa Ramos on Saturday, December 1 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Join us for an evening of great food and happy spirits! The main dish and soft drinks will be provided. There will be a cash bar for beer and wine. Please bring an appetizer, side dish or dessert to share. 36th Annual NOAA Fish Fry

Tickets are now on sale for the 36th Annual NOAA Fish Fry. Ticket price includes a wide variety of fish prepared by guest chefs from all around the country, side dishes, dessert, wine, beer, and soft drinks. Music provided. NOAA at the TAPS Honor Guard Gala

CAPT Gerd & Cheryl Glang attended the TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) Honor Guard Gala at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, representing the National Military Family Association and NOAA. The event featured honoree Senator Jim Webb, keynote speaker Tom Brokaw, and master of ceremonies Kyra Phillips from CNN.  Other guests of note were Admiral Michael G. Mullen, Major General Mark Graham and M.L. “Buzz” Hefti.  The list of attendees also included surviving family members of soldiers and sailors who have given their lives in service to our country.
