Who We Are
NOAA OFFICERS’ FAMILY ASSOCIATION is a group of active and retired NOAA Corps Officers and their families. The NOAA Commissioned Officer Corps is one of the seven uniformed services of the United States. The service, consisting of approximately 300 commissioned officers, is an integral part of National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, an agency of the Department of Commerce.

NOFA Members – Families Staying Connected
We encourage all NOFA Members to register on this website and keep their information current. We would also greatly appreciate your help notifying other NOAA Officers and Families to update their information if you know of a change in their status or address/email, etc.
reasons to register in the Member Area (with password protected access) of your website:
- Your website Member Area – address database is used to send news & invitations primarily via email and when needed by mail.
- Your website Member Area – address database is your address book connection where you have access to search for other NOFA members – active & retired.
- Your website informs you of news and upcoming events in your area on the Local Clubs link, as well as posts recent events with pictures for sharing.
- Your website has other links, like the Resource Center, with valuable information and a Contacts link if you want to comment or contact us – your current NOFA Board Members.
NOAA Corps Ensigns not yet input into our database need to contact us via Contacts and we will enter your information; you will then be responsible for keeping your information updated.
